If you use the demo/contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email, optionally company, role, phone, project type and your message) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (pre-contractual steps/performance of a contract and legitimate interest in answering your request).

The emails are sent technically via the service provider Resend. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your request and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit it, technically necessary server logs (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource) are processed to ensure operation and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you use the BauKIT application, we process account and usage data as well as the plans and input you upload in order to produce the quantity takeoff and bill of quantities. To provide the service, content is transferred to sub-processors, partly in third countries (including the USA), safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Where we process personal data on your behalf, the data processing agreement (DPA) applies; it also contains the full list of sub-processors. Details on processing in the app can be found in the privacy policy of the application, and the terms of use in the terms and conditions.

We only use technically necessary cookies. We set optional cookies only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact office@baukit.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
