Scope
BauKIT brings the construction knowledge a reliable estimate needs, and shows where every figure comes from.
Around 19,400 items from all 60 work groups of LB-HB 022, the Austrian standard specification for building construction (from site overheads through concrete, masonry, plaster, screed, roofing and windows to drywall and external works), plus around 1,800 building-services items (heating/heat pumps, electrical cabling). Every line item references its LB number, which is why your tendering software imports the ONLV file without rework.
Work the standard specification does not cover (crane hire, building demolition per m³, dewatering, site logistics) is listed by BauKIT as a Z item, with one sentence on why no standard item fits and where the price comes from.
Every quantity is marked PLAN (stated in the plan), HERLEIT (calculated from plan dimensions) or ANNAHME (experience value, information missing). You see at a glance which 15 % deserve a closer look, instead of 100 % of figures with no indication of certainty.
BauKIT extracts the required work from the building description (fire compartments, lift, green facade, EV charging points) and maps each one to the line items that cover it, quoting the source. Anything not covered appears as an open point.
From excavation through shell, roof and facade to fit-out, building services and external works. Without a specialist design, BauKIT applies standard market lump sums for HVAC and electrical work, lists known systems separately, and says that the estimate should be redone once the specialist design exists.
Mandatory items and standard checklists per project type, rules from OIB, ÖNORM and BauKG, construction times, reinforcement ratios, benchmarks per m² of gross floor area: rule texts that BauKIT has to work through, not AI discretion. Every calculation runs through a deterministic calculator, and every assumption has to be justified.
