The project
A new single-family house replacing an existing building, somewhere in Lower Austria. The permit plan arrived as a PDF. BauKIT produced the complete quantity takeoff from it, with a derivation for every figure, and built a priced bill of quantities.
Bill of quantities total €628,548 net, justified risk allowance of 9.8 % (€61,598), quotation total €690,146. Exported as Excel, quotation PDF and ONLV for Nevaris, ABK and Auer Success.
Checking, not just calculating
The existing building has to go, yet the plan contained not a single euro for it. Realistic range: €50,000 – 125,000.
Before demolishing an existing building, a survey according to ÖNORM B 3151 is required. It was not planned anywhere.
The amount set aside does not cover a project of this size, a classic item that eats into the margin later.
